PageStation VisualPA
  • PageStation supports multiple customer owned paging systems and multiple commercial  paging services at the same time, seamlessly across the enterprise.
  • VisualPA  provides visual intercom/public address capabilities that can deliver messages from any  PC with a browser to message displays located throughout the enterprise.

        Silent Messenger allows you to fully integrate the PageStation and VisualPA products by simply purchasing licenses (commercial supported version) for both pagers and message display boards.  Silent Messenger will then allow users to simply "click" to send messages to both message displays and pagers in a single fully integrated action.  

          Users retain the ability to send messages,  on a message by message basis,  to only pager or only message displays if  desired.  PageStation and VisualPA are TCPI/IP applications that uses your enterprise network to deliver pages and messages throughout the enterprise. VisualPA  Message Display Capabilities
  • Message displays supported by Silent Messenger vary in capability from monochrome red or green,  standard red-green-yellow displays and message displays with 64 colors. Free Linux version supports two  Beta Brite electronic signs at no charge.  These signs can be purchased from MessageNet Systems or at Sams Clubs. 
  • Display Sizes vary from standard 2.1 inch characters to more than 7 inch high characters.  This supports reading distances from 50 feet to more that 300 feet respectively.
  • VisualPA allows the user to control the color of each character in a message individually.
  • Multiple messages from multiple people can share a message display at the same time.
  •  Silent Messenger VisualPA (Comercial version ) is sold as a complete turnkey system including a complete line of message displays such as the message sign shown below.

Communicating with PageStation & VisualPA
Along with the Web browser user interface Silent Messenger provides two simple API's to allow other computer systems in the enterprise to communicate to PageStation and VisualPA.   A socket call, a command line interface or an ASCII file interface using Somba provide inter-system communications that can dramatically reduce the cost and effort associated with bringing paging and visual communications to your mission critical systems.
