Silent Messenger PageStation
  • PageStation sells and supports a selection of motorola numeric and text message pagers.    From multiline  Advisor Gold  to the single line Memo Express.  pagers are supported.   Additionally low cost numeric pager such as the Bravo series  of pagers are supported and sold with the system.
PageStation provides many advanced Paging features.
  •  Archives all messages sent and received.
  • User defined distribution lists to page multiple people with a single message.
  • Supports pager authorization lists to stop pager abuse.  Allows users to create lists of people that can or cannot page them.
  • Allows pager forwarding, like Phone forwarding routes pager messages to the responsible party.
  • Supports scheduled paging. Allows you to create schedules as to when pages are delivered.
  • Allows users to reply to pages which automatically return a receivers reply page to the sender.
  • PageStation provides on site and commercial paging that can be expanded to a distributed multi-site multi-transmitter paging system.   This capability allows companies to take advantages of the long distance reach of commercial  paging services and the advantages of low cost and low delay provided by in-house paging that uses private transmitters distributed throughout the company.   PageStation can function across geographically separated sites as a  single paging system
  • MessageNet Systems sells paging transmitters operating in the UHF band that operate in the 400 to 500 Mhz range.  PageStation can be installed with a 2 watt or 5 watt transmitters. These transmitters can be amplified to 12 Watts and 18 Watts respectively.  This range of paging power can provide coverage diameters from 1/2 to 4 miles or more  depending on environmental conditions.
  • Runs as an Intranet Application on your Enterprise Network providing point and click access to paging without the need to remember numbers to dial and pin numbers to enter.  Just search the database, click on a persons name and type in your message.
  • Delivers page messages via dial or fixed connections to in-house paging terminals such as Zetron and wide area paging services via a TAP interface.
  • Acts as a Paging terminal by accepting TAP connections from other computer systems that perform paging.  This "TAP IN" interface allows you to funnel all paging traffic through PageStation, bringing the features such as, pager  forwarding, reply to pages, and message archiving, to your existing  paging systems.  This paging  terminal functionality also allows these systems to send messages to PageStation in-house pagers.
  • Eliminates the cost, the security risk and the requirement for each  users to have a modem and phone line to perform alpha-paging.
  • PageStation software comes with a no risk money back guarantee.  If you are not satisfied ,for any reason,  with PageStation software within 90 days of installation you may return the software for a full refund.
  • PageStation software  is priced by the number of pagers defined.  Volume discounts are available by quote.
  • PageStation also includes a Virtual Pager  product.  The virtual pager  delivers pages to  PC's  as if they  were  Pagers.  Virtual Pager is ideal for desk oriented persons.

Silent Messenger allows you to fully integrate the PageStation and VisualPA visual intercom products by simply purchasing licenses for both pagers and message display boards.  Silent Messenger will then allow users to simply "click" to send messages to both message displays and pagers in a single fully integrated action.  Users retain the ability to send messages  to only pagers  if  desired.

Communicating with PageStation
Along with the Web browser user interface Silent Messenger provides two simple API's to allow other computer systems in the enterprise to communicate to PageStation.   A command line interface and an ASCII file interface using NFS provide inter-system communications that can dramatically reduce the cost and effort associated with bringing paging to your mission critical systems.
